A visa medical test in Dubai is a mandatory health examination required for individuals applying for or renewing residence and employment visas. It is required for new residents, domestic workers, job seekers, investors, and family visa holders to confirm medical fitness and comply with public health regulations.

The standard visa medical exam includes a blood test (to screen for infectious diseases like HIV, hepatitis B and C, syphilis) and a chest X-ray (to detect tuberculosis). In some cases, additional tests may be required by the clinic based on age or health history.

You can book an appointment via DHA’s Smart Services, UAE Pass, or directly at an authorized medical fitness center. After testing, results are typically issued within 24–48 hours for standard service or 4–6 hours for express/VIP options, after which a medical fitness certificate is generated.
